Our ancestors understood the importance of ceremony to heal wounds and transform them into powerful gifts that influence us in positive ways. We often seek to be liberated from previous wounds that influence us and block our momentum forward through the manifestation of unhealthy emotional and mental patterns. If core wound(s) are not addressed and healed, pain and trauma continue to exacerbate energetic blockage, enhance unhealthy patterns and influence our lives in adverse ways.

The Fire Element has the ability to immediately transform energy. The Fire Ceremony is an ancient ceremony used to transform unhealthy energy and patterns into beneficial energy and life-affirming patterns; allowing us to understand and accept lessons as well as step into who we are becoming instead of who we were.

In many parts of the world, this shamanic ceremony is done in a community setting with a large fire so many can participate in its blessings. However, a small, personal Fire Ceremony can also be done daily to enhance the process of transformation. Please reference the attached video as well as information below for more information.

Items Needed:

• Small stick, toothpick or match
• Lighter or matches
• Ashtray/place to put burning stick

Ceremony:

• Open Sacred Space (ref video/text in “Resources Tab/Energetic Protection”).
• Sit comfortably with stick in hand and ashtray in front of you.
• Connect with the sacred energies that surround you.
• Connect with the energy/pattern you want to release/transform.
• With intent to release/transform this energy, blow the energy/pattern into the stick. You can also write what you want to release or transform on a piece      of paper, blow into paper and wrap around stick.
• Light stick/paper on fire and put in ashtray, watching it burn – affirming that this energy/pattern is being transformed.
• Reframe the wound/trauma in your mind. Mentally visualize yourself transmuting it into its opposite, see yourself overcoming the pattern.
• If you would like, continue with further meditation, etc.
• Remember to thank the sacred energies that you invoked and close the sacred space.

Unhealthy patterns are developed over a period of time. Sometimes, they’ve followed us from one lifetime to another. Healing is a process, not an event. It takes dedication and commitment to change as well as time to heal and transform these patterns. Start today – search to transform wounds into gifts and bring them to the world!
