A Despacho is a sacred offering. There are many ways to make a “Despacho”. Despachos are made to honor sacred energies, bring a person or situation into balance, cleanse the luminous energy field (aura) or disperse dense, intrusive energies from a person or environment. The Qero shamans of Peru use many different items depending on the type of Despacho they are making. Their despachos are usually wrapped in beautiful paper, then are burned or buried.
This Despacho honors our Earth Mother (Pachamama). It is made on the ground and left there after the ceremony is finished. I encourage you to use your creativity and intuition when making your Despacho. There’s no right or wrong way, ingredients can be substituted as necessary. Your “intent” is the most important ingredient.
